Roxann Latimer is Publisher & Editor in Chief.  She has a mission to publish a paper that tells the truth about the lifestyles of Africans globally and emphasizes the beauty of Africa.  There are many publications on Africa published in Africa and other parts of the world. Why Urban 2 Village news & Reviews and what makes it different?

"We offer information on many subjects, including politics and world events as they relate to us as Africans and Africa Americans.  We give voice to many Africans and African Americans who otherwise would not be heard.  We allow all parties to speak their issues and concerns as well as those of the man on the street.  I wanted to see and hear news that reflects the beauty of Africa.  Our mainstream media only defines the beauty of Africa through visions of going on Safari's, but for me as an African American who has lived and traveled in several West African countries, the beauty of Africa can be found in its people, its art and its culture, not just in animals."
