POSITIVE NATION MAGAZINE ONLINE

As part of its efforts to bridge the information dissemination gap between policy makers, NGOs, CBOs and other stakeholders in the war against HIV/AIDS on the one hand and the general public on the other, the Centre For HIV/AIDS & STD Research is publishing the first HIV & Sexual Health magazine in Nigeria, to be known as 'POSITIVE NATION'.

Patterned after POSITIVE NATION (UK), (the leading HIV & Sexual Health magazine in the United Kingdom), POSITIVE NATION is a monthly international magazine which will offer incisive coverage of HIV and related issues, research efforts and updates, conferences, seminars, workshops, news, interviews and a special focus on people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).

POSITIVE NATION will also pay very critical attention at educating and informing the youths, particularly those in secondary and post-secondary institutions with a view to arresting the prevalence of HIV at that high-risk group. Our slogan and motivating force here being: 'IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, DON'T GET IT'

The maiden edition is scheduled to be out on June 1 2004. Already over 500 individuals and organizations from all around the world have subscribed and the list is growing. Subscription is free.
